【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverssteelcastingsforvalves,flanges,fittings,andotherpressure-containingpartsintendedprimarilyforlow-temperatureservice.1.2Severalgradesofferriticsteelsandonegradeofmartensiticsteelarecovered.Selectionofanalysiswilldependondesignandserviceconditions(Note).Thetemperatureshownisthelowesttemperatureatwhichthematerialordinarilyisrequiredtomeettheimpactrequirementsofthisspecification(seeSupplementaryRequirementS22,ImpactTestTemperatures).Usersshouldnotethathardenabilityofsomeofthegradesmentionedmayrestrictthemaximumsizeatwhichtherequiredmechanicalpropertiesareobtainable(see).Thisspecificationcoversthelow-temperaturerequirementsparticularlypertinentforferriticandmartensiticsteels.CertainofthegradesofausteniticsteelcastingsfurnishedinaccordancewithSpecificationA351/A351Mhavebeenfoundsuitableforlow-temperatureservicedownto300F[184C]andothersdownto425F[254C].ThesegradesmaybeusedwhenimpacttestedinaccordancewithSpecificationA352/A352Mwithenergylevelsandtemperaturesoftestmutuallyagreeduponbetweenthepurchaserandthemanufacturer.Asaguidetotheselectionofenergylevelsandtestingtemperatures,shouldbeconsulted.1.3Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.Inch-poundunitsareapplicableformaterialorderedtoSpecificationA352andSIunitsformaterialorderedtoSpecificationA352M.
