Scope:Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR?s) define oxygen system requirements on the basis of a decompression incident, should it occur at the equal time point (ETP). After initial descent, flying at a lower altitude requires more fuel and less oxygen. Flying at higher altitudes requires less fuel but more oxygen.
