【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefultodetectandquantifynitrogen-containingcompoundsataconcentrationof0.03to1mgN/kginlightaromatichydrocarbonsusedorproducedinmanufacturingprocess.Thesenitrogen-containingcompoundsareundesirableinfinishedaromaticproductsandmaybeusedinsettingspecificationfordeterminingthetotalnitrogencontentinaromatichydrocarbons.Thistestmethodrequirestheuseofreducedpressureatthedetector.Lossofvacuumorpressurefluctuationsimpactthesensitivityofthedetectorandtheabilitytodeterminenitrogenconcentrationslessthan1mgN/kg.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftotalnitrogeninaromatichydrocarbons,suchasbenzene,toluene,andxylene.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicableforsamplescontainingnitrogenfrom0.03to1mgN/kg.ForhighernitrogenconcentrationsrefertoTestMethodD6069orD4629.1.3Indeterminingtheconformanceofthetestresultsusingthismethodtoapplicablespecifications;resultsshallberoundedoffinaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifanyassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection9.
